Ray Dix works part-time as a
(Florida) Special Assistant Public Defender and part-time as assistant
manager of a marine supplies store, while finishing his second novel,
tentatively name: Tampa Bay Blues.
In Tampa Bay Blues, Woody Thomas must
represent one friend who has confessed to killing another friend. The
story delves deeply into police interrogation techniques and the
fellowship of AA. While no date is set for release, it is hoped that
Tampa Bay Blues will be available by May, 2007.
Mr. Dix presently resides on an
island in the Chesapeake Bay.
He is
available for a limited number of author events, including book signings
and public speaking engagements, and can speak on a number of topics,
including the death penalty, writing, Florida, and boating.
