I was born and raised on the Delmarva Peninsula,  that unique piece of land bounded by the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. As much as anywhere on Earth, it is home. After graduation from Stephen Decatur High School in 1966, I decided to join the Army: My family has a history of military service and it seemed to be the right thing to do. Four years later I started college, eventually getting a BA from Salisbury (Maryland) State College. Ten years after that, the year I turned 40, I graduated from University of Maryland's School of Law. I live and work in Florida and am writing the next in a series of Woody Thomas novels.
