   CLEARWATER RUN was originally released in 2005 under the title Death Row Defender.

   Death Row Defender was released in October, 2005. It won two awards prior to publication, and won the 2006 Eppie for best mystery in e-book from the organizaion EPIC.
  New copies of Death Row Defender are now unavailable, and thus it is a collectors item.  However, it may still be available as a used book at Amazon or other booksellers.

About the author

   Soldier, sailor, boatbuilder, electronics technician, and lawyer, Ray Dix has experienced much of what life has to offer—the good, the bad, and the ugly. 
   The protagonist in his novels, former Public Defender Woody Thomas, shares some of that background—but as the author is quick to point out—Dix is not Woody Thomas.

Synopsis

    Woody turns to detective Kyle Murdock, a former Navy SEAL, for help in an investigation that leads from the horse country of Ocala, to suburban Tampa and the beaches of Tampa Bay.
